Information on Rosacea Acne
Rosacea acne is known to be the chronic disease that affects the skin. This rosaceous acne can be distinguished by the redness and pimples in many cases, slight inflammation and the skin tissue develops thickness. So to the most the entire face is being affected by this acne and sometimes there are chances to be affected in some parts of the body that has some kind of skin disorder. So in general Rosacea and acne are formed separately, even though the reason for the cause is misdiagnosed as acne.
From a study, it has been known that fourteen people from the entire American population have the Rosacea acne problem. So this type of acne can develop on both men and women who are between the age limit of 30 and 50. But Rosacea acne is mostly formed in women than that of men thought the exact result for this variation is not yet determined. The only one reason for the maximum attack in women is due to the menopause in women that causes the increase in the intensity during the period of this menopause and as a start to this acne, there is an appearance of reddish complexion that will later continue with more sever skin disfiguration.
So in general, Rosacea acne is developed in three stages that are as follows:
Stage One:
During this stage, the redness in the face is visible that has can be commonly identifies with reddish complexion. After a period of time this redness becomes more visible due to the reason that, the blood vessels emerges out form the skin. During this stage the skin becomes tough and a burning sensation is created and after this period whatever skin products you use, you will get the irritation and a burning sensation.
Second Stage:
During this stage, the small redness developed in the skin spread throughout and a majority of the skin surface will be covered with this redness. At this stage the development of swelling, pimples and boils can be highly noticed.
Third Stage:
This stage is the final stage and it will be very painful, but this final third stage is not attained by most of the patients. In this stage only Rhinophyma or the reason for the bulbous nose is noticeable. This can be identified by the swelling and this may spread to the entire central face and at rare cases this many also affect areas present near the earlobes. So the sebaceous glands will enlarge during this stage that will often cause puffed nose and cheeks.
Almost at this stage 50% of acne Rosacea may cause an infection in the eyes and so some patients may experience some kind of irritating and burning sensation in eyes and some kind of conjunctivitis. Though the causes for this acne Rosacea are not found, it can be treated using Topical treatments.
Tips for managing Rosacea:
- Avoid taking hot drinks, caffeine intake, spicy foods and alcoholic beverages
- Apply some sunscreens with enough SPF property to be protected from sun
- Mostly avoid touching the affected area with hands and also totally avoid rigorous scrubbing and rubbing so that the chance of infection being spread can be diminished to other facial parts
- While performing physical exercises do it under airy and cool places in order to acquire good Ventilallation. It is also advisable for patients to wear lose clothes while doing exercise
- Make a full stop to facial products and cosmetics. If it is not possible for you to avoid then just use water-based products rather than using oil-based products. Also check to that, the facial products you use should be alcohol free, because this may cause some kind of irritation and complication to your skin.
